In the UK, there are almost two million people living with sight loss. Of these, around 360,000 are registered as blind or partially sighted. Sight loss can have a significant emotional and psychological impact on people’s lives, with fear, isolation, loss of self-esteem and depression having an impact.
Since 1982 England and Wales Blind Golf has transformed the life of blind individuals through friendship and a supportive club atmosphere.
